Genealogist Mike Watson introduced guests at the first Lanterns and Tombstones Tour of 2023 to Thomas Lewis Hulse, Methodist Minister for 42 years, who was born in 1868 in Metcalfe County, KY. The event was planned to be over before dark, however, too many historic mentions had to be included by guides Dave Thomas and Watson. Raleigh Emerson Foster on his first tour

Little Raleigh Emerson Foster was the youngest visitor at the Lanterns and Tombstones Tour Friday night in Columbia, at age eight weeks. He leaned back to view the activities, secure and warm in his Mom's arms. He is the apple of the eyes of new grandparents April and Guy Shepperd and their daughter Bailey Foster and her husband Jonathan.
