Mrs. Willis has over 20 years of teaching experience, with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from Western Kentucky University, a master's degree from Eastern Kentucky University in education administration, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Mrs. Willis states, "I am honored to be chosen as the Adair County Middle School principal and am excited to form positive relationships with my students, faculty, staff, and community! Together, we will seek to continuously improve Adair County Middle School." She and her husband, Matthew, have 3 children and reside in Columbia. Remembering typing up news in EHN office 2023-06-28 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. When I saw this in a vintage shop recently, I pictured Miss Ruth VanZant, society news editor and office manager in the 1960s Edmonton Herald-News office. She'd answer the classic black rotary dial telephone, "Herald News," listen, nod, say unhuh, ask occasional details, then hang up and pound out a story in no time flat on a typewriter much like this one. I was the high school news reporter and she allowed me to come in after class and use it.
