Remembering Lainey's Diner original art

They had been in storage with her sister Trilby since until she delivered them to Synergy to share with the public. They will remain on display at Synergy for now.

Craig Dean and Sherri Giles hosted art event

Synergy General Manager Craig Dean said the first Community Proud Art Walkthrough was very successful and another would definitely be held in the future. Sherri Giles, Synergy Logistics Coordinator, said she made contact with hundreds of artists and craftspeople who shared over a hundred works for the event.

Landscape changing on the Veterans Memorial Bypass
 2023-07-06 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Heading around Columbia on the Veterans Memorial Bypass drivers will be watching major landscape changes. That will be home to the new headquarters of the Don Franklin family of dealerships. Over the coming year and a half, Don Franklin Fiord will be working to move onto the 18 acres at the convergence of Hudson Street and the Veterans Memorial Bypass which will be home to a new 30,000 square foot building. Don and Barbara Franklin, started the business in 1968 as Don's Auto Sales and went on to buy the Ford dealership from the Flowers family in 1981. Today the Don Franklin Auto group has expanded to 24 dealerships along with body shops, parts and service centers and reconditioning centers. It continues as a family run operation led by Ed and Dan Franklin.
