Farmers Market tomato just about covers the plate

That's just one tomato from Farmers Market on the Square Saturday - one! It covered almost the whole regular size plate. We are definitely in the heart of tomato season. The market is open Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings on the corner of Merchant and Campbellsville Streets in Columbia.

Longest yard sale brought lots of business

Yard sales decorated the roadsides and traffic was heavy in Russell County over the weekend. The 127 Yard Sale, "the world's longest," goes from Addison, Michigan to Gadsden, Alabama.
