Notre-Dame Cathedral in Old Quebec City

The Lindsey Wilson College Singers were honored to present concerts throughout Quebec during the Canadian Thanksgiving season, October 5-9, 2023. The trip included concerts in major cathedrals throughout the province, including Sainte-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral in Sherbrooke, Sainte Anne Cathedral in de-Beaupre, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Old Quebec City, pictured above.
On Monday evening, October 16, 2023, the ensemble will perform their traditional Home Concert for the community. The program begins at 7pmCT at Columbia Baptist Church. The entire repertoire of the Quebec concerts will be included as well as a few surprises for the audience!

Congratulations to HC Queen Madison Irvin

Nothing beats a winning football gave with halftime crowning of royalty. Congratulations to Madison Irvin who was crowned Adair County High School Homecoming Queen 2023. Her escort was Bode Richards. They represented FFA. The team beat Butler County with a score of 33-13. That win secured them a place in the playoffs. Next Friday night's away game will be against McCreary County.

Mann is guest speaker at October Chamber luncheon

Dr. Kyle Mann, an Adair County High School graduate who holds a BS degree in Biochemistry from Western Kentucky University and a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Louisville, was the guest speaker at the October Chamber of Commerce meeting.
He is now a representative for the Kentucky Small Business Development Center which he shared details about at the meeting. He looks forward to having opportunities to help local businesses. Business and entrepreneurship have been an integral part of Kyle's life, growing up in family businesses and recently launching his own business, UpScore Test Prep, LLC, an online ACT student test prep program which we'll have more on at a later date.
