 2023-11-03 - Metcalfe Co., KY - Photo from Mark Fudge. Carol Perkins and Anna Jolly have been very busy the past several days collecting items and packing Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts. National Collection Dates for OCC are November 13-20, 2023. The Green River Area Team-- which consists of Adair, Casey, Green, Hart, Metcalfe and Taylor Counties--hopes to collect 17,000 shoe box gifts between the six counties.

Last stop on first history walk of Public Square

Mike Watson and Dave Thomas thanked everyone who came out. Their people counters who try to determine the turnout at such events concluded that between 130 and 140 were in attendance.
