Sharon notes, "I have several summer's worth of straggling geraniums, shabby begonias, rosemarys started from cuttings. The table in the sun room is crowded, smaller plants are ranged under the light strip in the middle ground level room, yet I am reluctant to cull. Surely anything which has survived the frost has a right to continued living quarters?"

OCC recognizes Columbia Nazarene church

Samaritans Purse-Operation Christmas Child representative Mark Fudge visited the Columbia Nazarene Church on Sunday morning, November 5, 2023, to present the church with a 10-year participation plaque from OCC.

The church is not only active packing boxes from year to year -- for the last 10 years, the church has served as the central drop-off location for Adair and surrounding counties. Pictured from left are Fudge, OCC project leader for the church, April Curry, and Pastor Brent Piatt.

National Collection Week for OCC is November 13-20, 2023.
