Boxes can be dropped off from 9amCT to 11amCT on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Columbia Nazarene Church located at 1200 Jamestown St., Columbia, KY.

Shoebox Mission work completed in Edmonton

Metcalfe County High School football players - Byron, Fenton, Tyler, Trigg, and Jake - with the guidance of Mark and Denise Glass Fudge, allowed 94 shipping cartons of shoeboxes to be loaded onto the truck for delivery to make their way to the next check point in the giving program.

Fiscal Court gives ok to relocate cemetery

One item of business at the first Fiscal Court meeting of November - truly appreciated by the EDA - was the majority vote by Magistrates, 5-3, to approve relocation of the graveyard from the Green River Commerce Park. A handwritten letter from the family, delivered in person by Bobby Morrison to the Court, allowed enough proof for the motion to pass.

OCC 2023: Plum Point Baptist brings Sat total to 2,811

Pastor Steve Willis and Ethin Dial dropped off beautiful shoebox gifts from the Plum Point Baptist Church. With their drop off the total number of boxes collected in Adair County going into Sunday is 2,811. Click "read more" for the schedule for the final two days of drop-offs.
