On the way to Thanksgiving dinner with the family I had to turn in this business drive and take a quick picture of their corner of pure color. As much as I love Columbia and the improvements happening in our downtown, when I visit the kids and grandkids I admire Shelbyville's historic preservation and all the murals that give pops of color to their downtown. Luke Rich, the first Adair County swimmer to sign with a Division I NCAA school, was surrounded by family and supporters as he signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, Monday. He will be a May '23 ACHS graduate and started this journey at age seven swimming with the Blue Raider Aquatic Club at LWC.
