Happy 60th Birthday In Heaven
Marsha Roberts

January 24th would have been your day
But God chose for you to leave on His day
We still miss you and cherish the memories
Life here we know is only temporary
We will see you again someday
Then we will all have a glorious new birth day
Until then we keep you in our hearts
Someday to leave this old world to never part

Love you always and forever, James & Jamison

Another Amazon truck may have hit Adair property

2024-01-22 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Victoria Pike of Miss Vicky's Pampered Angus Ranch.
On the subject of the Adair County Courthouse property hit and removal, Vicky Pike writes, "Well, the pillar is gone according to the mayor. The truck that hit it must have broken down on the parkway. They were pulling an Amazon prime trailer in off my ramp back toward town. It was a prime truck they said hit it."
(It was an Amazon truck that hit the property before and took bricks off the Courthouse wing before it was removed. The Columbia Public Square seems just not big enough to handle today's large delivery trucks.)

2024-01-22 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Mayor Pam Hoots.
The old concrete traffic barrier that had been put in place to keep big trucks from hitting the Adair County Courthouse was hit Sunday and has been removed. The big concrete post was the last vestige of the "wings" - that have now been removed.
