Dr. Donna Hedgepath chosen as president of WBU 2024-01-27 . Dr. Donna Hedgepath has been chosen to become the 14th President of Wayland Baptist University in Texas. She begins work there on July 1, 2024. She moved up from the School of Education to follow Dr. Frank Cheatham at Campbellsville University as Vice President of Academic Affairs, and has served in that position since his retirement. The new Wayland president was said "to not only meet the high standards of the university, but also possess the passion and vision necessary to propel WBU into a new era of excellence."
