Officer Wilson joins Columbia Police Department

Mayor proud to report on Columbia's growth

Mayor Pamela Hoots had numbers in all areas of city management that show Columbia is growing rapidly and the new businesses coming in make for around 150 new jobs here. She presented the state of the city report at the February Chamber of Commerce meeting.

February 15th, the day to think of Izzie Mae
 2024-02-14 - Adair County, KY - Photo from family collection. Easton and Mercedes Bryant's oldest child, Izzie Mae, lives with a condition called Angelman Syndrome. February 15th is International Angelman Day, raising awareness and understanding as well as fundraising toward a cure. Wearing blue is a reminder of the support for her and the day. Easton, pictured with Izzie in the photo at left, shared this quote that means a lot to them, "Just because someone is nonverbal doesn't mean they have nothing to say."
