Landscape Photography: Adding the Human Element #6
2024-02-21 - Snow Canyon State Park, near St. George Utah - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking. Robert writes, "This is a beautiful state park with numerous trails, ancient lava flows, dunes and cinder cones of volcanoes. It is often overlooked by vacationers heading to Zion National Park, but is well worth exploring if you can fit it into your itinerary. If you want to add even a little more to the adventure you could also include Yant Flats (Candy Cliffs) and Gunlock State Park (especially if the Falls below the reservoir are flowing). Lastly there is the Vortex (near Gunlock State Park). It is a wonderful hike with a rewarding geological phenomenon known as the Vortex. These places are all located near St. George."
