Cooking breakfast to help raise funds

Making the meals in the ACVFD fire department kitchen were chefs Jeff and Billy Hadley and Roger Cundiff. They cooked pancakes and sausage for all of their company in the annual Crusade For Children fundraiser. William Grider said all you had to do to know who did all the cooking was to look at their aprons.

A tired Adair County High School basketball team walk past proud cheering fans after winning their first game of the 5th Region tournament against Washington County. The win moves them past the first round of the tournament for the first time in 7 years.

The Adair County Genealogical Society's monthly meeting was well attended on Monday. The highlight of the meeting was Col. Daniel Trabue, as portrayed by Richard Phelps, with his revised biographical presentation on the co-founder of Columbia.

Indians win over Washington County 70-62

That's Connor Loy, lead scorer, shooting a second half layup as ACHS Indians take charge over Washington County Tuesday night in 5th Region action! The team will play again on Friday night against the Trojans of North Hardin High School who defeated Hart County 65-33 last night to move on to the 2nd round of the region tournament.
