Congratulations Bailey Watts!

ACHS junior Bailey Watts took home First Place in the General Knowledge exam at the 2024 KY Governor's Cup State Finals, held at the Galt House in Louisville, KY on March 8-11, 2024.

Watts, who is the daughter of Bridgette and Ben Watts of Breeding, joins an elite group of just eight ACHS students to bring home an individual award at the state level since the competition's inception 39 years ago.

Emergency Services respond to fire on 704 on Tuesday

Veronica writes, "Tuesday was a busy day on 704. In the morning, an overturned truck blocked the road. By evening, a fire broke out and Emergency Services had to block the road around 704. I was very glad they were there and their quick response kept the fire from spreading!"
