Coach Kim Goodin led 1992 Lady Indians at State

Coach Kim Goodin led the 1992 Lady Indians girls basketball team to the Sweet Sixteen where they made it through the first game and into the Elite 8.
She was head coach for thirteen years which included the 1992 trip to the state tournament.
Amy Keys said, "Coach Goodin was, and is, an amazing mentor that I will forever be thankful for!!"

Bailey Watts is 2025 KUNA Court of Justice President

Bailey Watts (at right) earned the title of 2025 International Court of Justice President at this year's Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) in Louisville. She is pictured with Brody Blair (at left), who was the 2024 president.
Candice Flatt says, "We are are so honored to have Adair County students win this position back to back."
This conference was the largest they have ever had for KUNA, with over 1,000 students participating.

Solo honored as 2A KHSA Indoor Long Jump Champion
 2024-03-27 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Solomon Stonebraker was presented a special award at the March Adair School Board meeting. Superintendent Faulkner said, "Solo has just been crowned 2A KHSA Indoor Long Jump Champion. He is only the second champ in ACHS history, quite the accomplishment." His jump was 21 feet and 2 and a quarter inches - the Superintendent offered for him to demonstrate but the board room isn't quite set up for it.

Ellie Cheatham presented award by Supt. Faulkner

Ellie Cheatham was called to the front of the March School Board meeting for an award as all-time scoring leader in girls basketball, and all-time leader in rebounds. Superintendent Jason Faulkner presented the award and made note that the District is "super proud of her 1,731 points and 1,587 rebounds in her amazing senior year."
