Travel: Driving The Hogsback
2024-05-31 - Scenic Highway 12, Utah - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking. Robert writes, "Upon leaving the Burr Trail road near Boulder, and getting back on Highway 12, we headed towards the town of Escalante. In addition to being a very scenic drive, we knew we would ultimately have to traverse the well-known "hogsback" portion of the highway. That elevated, and very narrow portion of the highway added another layer of excitement to our travels.
The whole stretch of road between the two communities lies in mile after mile of ever changing, beautiful and colorful scenery...a must drive if you visit Utah!"
