A tradition continues for Columbia events

2012-12-02 - 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
One of the most reassuring traditions at any Columbia Downtown Event is to see Charles and Helen Sparks where they usually are, where we've come to expect them to be at any Columbia celebration worth attending. As usual, they were there, on "their" bench, joined by a symbol of Downtown preservation, Adair Heritage Association member Jane Grant. We'd just like to have the announcer acknowledge their presence by saying, "We can now begin." right. - Linda Waggener.
