Happy New Year from Larry Smith

2012-12-31 - 101 E. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Innocent Bystander. Larry Smith likes to have a wall full of prints, photos and memorabilia with plenty of provenance at both the Big Dawg 99.9, above, in Campbellsvile, KY, and at The WAVE, 92.7 FM Columbia/Russell Springs. Behind him, on the left, is a collectible Fred Thrasher print depicting a Fourth of July parade on Main Street. Next is a yellow poster for the Elvis concert which was never held. Elvis died the day before it was to be held. Next, there's a photo of Larry shaking hands with Dakota Meyer on Dakota Meyer Day in Greensburg, KY. That photo also has Governor Beshear, Senator David Givens, and others. At the far right, a black and white photo shows Larry Smith while on the air at WHAS in Louisville. And one photo shows legendary Taylor County radio man Tommy Kerr. Larry sends a Happy New Year to all!
