Rays of blessings shine on mostly Bliss, KY residents
2013-01-07 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Rays of blessings shone through the clouds on Sunday afternoon, illuminating the vast lands, it appears, of, from left, Billy Neat, J.C. Lasley. Miz Victoria, and Mayor K. Scott, portending, it is hoped, great prosperity for them.

He is black with a bit of grey underneath his neck and on the tips of his feet. He tends to wonder off and is very friendly. He has a yellow/grey collar on with my name and phone number on it. We miss him and want him back home. Please let me know if anyone sees him. EMILY IRVIN 270-634-2091

Epicurean Kentuckian: New restaurant on Southfork Road
2013-01-07 - 730 Southfork Road, Casey County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener. On every visit to the Southfork Community of Casey County, there seems to be some new expansion of a familiar place or addition of a new one. The signs at the relatively new Wagon Trail give a run down of much of he menu, Hot Chili, Homemade Pie, Malts, Big Burgers, and Catfish Fridays give the big picture; the usually filled parking lot attests to its popularity. I stopped on an earlier trip with Mom, and we really liked the soup we had. It's located about three quarters of a mile after the turn onto Southfork Road. They're open 10am-6pmCT/11am-7pmET.
