2013-02-21 - Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, CU . Congregational Hymn Festival - "I heard an old, old story…" voices and music blended to the words of "Victory in Jesus" in Ransdell Chapel last night warming the cold February evening, Wednesday, February 20, 2012 as the first (now annual) Congregational Hymn Festival moved from song to song at Campbellsville University. A crowd of just under 200 - including First District Congressman Ed Whitfield and friends - bundled up and braved the weather and comments after the event indicated that it was a success. Leaders of the Song Festival, Dr. Tony Cunha, dean of the School of Music, and Dr. Shane Garrison, assistant professor of educational ministries, were pleased with the results of their year-long development work. Cunha said, "From the attendance and participation tonight, I do believe this has now become an annual event." - Linda Waggener, Campbellsville University
