Lower lights keep glowing, sending hope across Downtown
2013-03-14 - 102 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener. The most encouraging signs of a vibrant downtown, anywhere, are lights on in the evening hours. While Grimsley's Jewelry doesn't advertise, quite often The Jeweler is in, and, unlike strict hours elsewhere, the owner says he's willing to do business almost any time a customer asks. Mall rules just don't apply.

Learning the techniques of a goalie
2013-03-12 - Shelby County, KY - Photo by Pen. Hailey likes all aspects of soccer. She attends almost all of her brothers' games on Saturdays at Shelbyville Parks & Rec's many playing fields. Above she's getting what appears to be goalie training from her brother 'en, Coach Evan, who pretty much owns his favorite position (not a parents' or grandparents') on his team's roster. Ev and Hailey are the grandchildren of Ed & Linda Waggener, of Columbia. - Granddad
