Adair County Hospital Board Trustee Neal Gold will serve as a volunteer as the "point man" the on-site person to handle many of the day-to-day situations which would ordinarily be handled by a hospital administrator or CEO. The board approved the arrangement tonight at the board's regular monthly meeting. In a short meeting, the board went into executive session at the outset and returned to announce that CEO David Rasmussen had tendered his resignation at the trustees' request. Following this announcement the resignation was accepted and the new interim "team plan" was announced with Gold given the lead position while a search continues for a new CEO. Turner Log Cabin Park, located off North Columbia by the Campbellsville University Art Shop, is an area for students to relax in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery on campus. Hope they are also inspired by the daffodils, who've taken several winter freezings and just bounced back each time. The struggles have left their smiles a little less bright this year, but are still there, bravely soldiering on, inspiring the rest of us to endeavor to persevere.
