Columbia's 'Mr. Green' - Ken Dulin, the Recycling Man 2013-04-27 - Fortune Street, Columbia, KY - Photo CM Staff Photo. Ken Dulin,, Columbia's 'Mr. Green,' because of his passion for the environment, works on Saturday's on his own time to make the fledgling recycling program work. He was picking up and delivering a recycling tote, which was a a gift to the city from Heather Spoon's Energy Career Technology Academy, a Green initiative of Lindsey Wilson College. Dulin said that interest in the program is extremely high. He thinks Columbians are committed enough that recycling could mean the a huge difference in the cost of handling trash. He doesn't say it, but some think that recycling would not only stop the cash drain on the city budget, but might even turn a profit - for sure it could stave off a rate increase. Arrange for your recycling tote: Call 270-250-1431. By the way - isn't that a neat logo?- ED WAGGENER Comments? | Click here to share, print, or bookmark this photo.
