Arches going into place on Main Street
2013-07-03 - Main Street, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM radio.
Beautification work continues on the neat little alley ways in downtown Campbellsville between Main Street and First Street. It's part of a continuous effort on the part of the city, businesses, and civic leaders to make Downtown Campbellsville a walking campus still auto accessible. The red-brick style raised predestrian crossings have worked wonders. I hope we'll be seeing more cities use them make walking and shopping downtown more fun. - Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications.Paired Photo(s) : See alsoScenic Taylor Co., KY: Arch goes up in alley

Scenic Taylor Co., KY: Arch goes up in alley
2013-07-03 - Main Street, Campellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM radio. I love this stretch of Main Street in Downtown Campbellsville. I get paid to hang out at the building with the blue awning, far left, at the Big Dawg. (Wave at me when you pass the window when I'm on the air). Next door, the red building with the American flag is Attorney David Nunnery's office, then, the massive Green Building is owned by a Campbellsville icon, Chandler's (Did you every see a prettier warehouse? - His main store, just as pretty, is on the other side of Main), and next to that is Sharlow & Associates, the CPA firm.
