(Ad) Epicurean Kentuckian: Frogleg's at Rick's 206 Country Grocery & Grill
2013-09-20 . The Frog Legs are big, meaty flavorful - as good or better than anywhere, and worth more trips back to 206 Country Grocery & Grill, 10968 Liberty Road, in the Ella Community of Adair County. (That's a single order, by the way.) But the Redskins, the eighths pices of redskin potatoes are addictively delicious and for many, the star of the Friday & Saturday night menus at Ricky Burton's popular restaurant. He's serves catfish, shrimp, steak and frogleg and crableg platters in about any combination one would like, from 11am-to 9pmCT, on the Friday/Saturday menus. The steaks tonight are some beautful T-Bones.

Know where the Pavarotti look alike sign is located???
2013-09-20 - Adair County, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener. Many may recognize some of these names and faces from long, long ago, maybe even the Luciano Pavarotti look alike - the type is small and a little hard to read - chap on the left; the type is small and everything below the word "Elect" is a bit blurry. But can they recognize the location? There's no prize, not even a set of frog legs, not even a large mirror to make bus driving easier - the pay is zero, but the fame (among our CM readership) is priceless. - CM. The answer about the location came from U.S.P.S. carrier Jeff Johnson: "Vintage campaign posters. The house is located on the NE corner of Neat Hollow and LIberty Roads," he writes.

Little Cake residents watch honey bees swarm
2013-09-20 - Little Cake Road, Columbia, KY - Photo bt Wendy Gousha. Ben and I were at the farm when we looked up into the sky and saw all of these honey bees swarming around above us. All you could hear was their buzz. They made their way to this tree beside the house and made their nest here. If they will stay only depends upon the queen bee. We both had heard of this, but had seen this only on TV and never thought we would be witnessing nature at its best. - Wendy Gousha and Ben Briscoe
