McClister Cemetery: A place of beauty
2013-10-07 - McClister Cemetery, 4138 Fairplay Road, Fairplay, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. No one had to ask twice where Bradley Lynn McClister stood on the big issue - University of Louisville or University of Kentucky. Almost 7 years from the date of his birth, his burial place is honored with a tribute to his beloved Cardinals. The marker is located in as picturesque a memorial garden as there is anywhere, high on a hill in Fairplay, with great views in all directions.

Not all at BAVFD Chili Supper were candidate - yet
2013-10-07 - 290 Fire Station Lane, Breeding KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Billy Bloyd of Fairplay, KY was in attendance at the Breeding Fire Department Chili Supper. In answer to a query put to almost everyone we met there, "Are you a candidate"? Mr. Bloyd said, "No," but added with a wink, "Not yet." This year's supper drew a large number of candidates, but nothing like the number who will come next year, when candidates will turn out in droves, to this Adair County equivalent of Fancy Farm. There will be plenty of orators awaiting a turn on the stump in 2014. - Ed Waggener
