2013-10-17 - 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Constituent Summer Rowe, center got a special treat at the Adair County Library Children's Hour yesterday. She got to discuss the issues with her very own State Senator Sara Beth Gregory, left, in the presence of her Grandmother, Rose Burton, before facing the big issue of the day, the letter "L," with Miss Aleina in the "Quiet Room" a few minutes later. The kids learned that the letter stands for "Lion" - a hand puppet lion even visited, for "Llama," and for "Lee Ann," the library director. Senator Gregory was a the library to visit the kids and to read. And surely found that Children's Story Hour is the best theater in Columbia. I know I did. And I'm not just partial as a Granddad. - ED WAGGENER.
