Shamarie Claiborne: An Afternoon in San Antonio - Perfect time
2014-04-16 - San Antonio, Texas - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne. The wood and stone and light made for a perfect moment. God's presence was all around me in this quite little church, placed in the heart of the artist village in downtown San Antonio. - Shamarie Claiborne

Shamarie Claiborne: An Afternoon in San Antonio - Fountain
2014-04-16 - San Antonio, Texas - Photo by Shamarie Claiborne. This fountain was in a little village type area. I could envision folks dancing to live music in the summer with the lights stung overhead. The fountain is in the middle of the area with a stone patio in all directions around it. This gathering area was in the middle of the artist district that was full of shops filled with local artist work. My favorite art teacher Henrietta Scott along with my friends Cayce and Todd Davenport would have all been in heaven! - Shamarie Claiborne

Birds of KY: Hummers are back! Did well through cold
2014-04-16 - South Adair County, KY - Photo Wendy Butler Burt. I've had at least 3 hummingbirds (2 males, 1 female) at my feeders for the last several days. While I worried about them during last night's sub-freezing temperatures, they were buzzing around the feeders this morning at first light. - Wendy Butler Burt

Birds of KY: Hummingbirds here by April 15, 2014
2014-04-16 - Sulphur Creek near Allen Schoolhouse Road, Adair Co., KY - Photo by Sharon Spinks. Sharon Spinks snapped this diner at her house up, on Sulphur
Creek Road here in Adair County yesterday morning. It proves the
hummingbirds are already around the area. It appears this bird was
taking advantage of a free meal on a cold snowy tax day. - Sharon Spinks.
