Dog found on Keltner Road, Columbia, KY
2014-07-22 - Columbia, KY - Photo from Madonna Hammond. Found!! Female Lab or Shepherd mix puppy, approximately 4-6 months old; found on the northern end of Keltner Road (road is behind Betty's Country Cookin' Restaurant). She is very friendly and does have a collar on, but unfortunately, no owner/contact info on it. I'm sure she misses her family! If you think this maybe your puppy and can identify the collar she is wearing, please call 250-1630 or 250-5398. - Madonna Hammond

Todd Spalding, in recent FM 99.9 interview
2014-07-22 - 101 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM radio. Todd Spalding, Lebanon, KY, was interviewed on the Big Dawg, 99.9 FM, yesterday, and a couple of weeks ago in the photo above. Since the withdrawal of Tim Cocanougher, from the 11th Judicial Circuit Division I Judges race, Spalding is unopposed in the 2014 General Election for the position. Barring highly unlikely circumstances, will be sworn in as the new 11th Circuit Court/Div I Judge in January, 2015, succeeding Judge Dan Kelley, who is retiring. In the interview, Spalding praised Adair/Casey Circuit Judge Judy Vance, saying she is setting the standard for running a court. - Larry Smith, Operations Manager, Shoreline Communications

A Milkweek Tiger Moth Caterpillar
2014-07-21 - Adair County, KY - Photo Heather Evans. At first glance there was no way I was touching this. I've been stung too often by saddleback caterpillars. But it seems to be a Milkweed Tiger Moth caterpillar and is simply hairy. - Heather Evans
