Deputy Dogs assist with animal control
2015-04-11 - Green River Animal Shelter, 155 Appleby Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener. Jimmy Harmon, the Adair County Animal Control Officer, loves dogs, and keeps a few himself - 11 in all. These two, with him recently at the Green River Animal Shelter, serve as volunteer deputies. Quite often, stray dogs, interested in making new acquaintances, approach them, making a collar that much easier. They love riding with Mr. Harmon, he says.
