Wildflowers of Kentucky: Fleabane, Adair County, KY
2015-05-04 - So Busy enjoying failed to note location - Photo by Linda Waggener . Yesterday we took a Sunday drive to Eunice, had a picnic at Tabernacle Cemetery, and enjoyed on of the most beautiful days ever for wildflowers. Fleabane, above has been in bloom for a few days now, and was glorious yesterday. Whole fields were solid with the "miniature daisies" as we called them before Bro. Paul Patton identified them for us some years back. Earlier in the week, Ed insisted he remembered the name, and, thinking I knew, said "Wait, wait, don't tell me," like the the radio program; two days later he said, "I know it starts with a "ph." And sure enough, it was "fleabane." - LW
