 2015-06-01 - Columbia, KY - Photo Ed Waggener. It's Glory Days time for Catalpas, the showiest tree in the woods. Peak day any time now. A "will-do" photo, above, as minimal homage to a favorite tree. We're keep trying for a submission of a cascade of Catalpa blossoms and for the most artistic catalpa petals like snow on a spring lawn picture, just in case better photographers don't submit first. We'd appreciate it if they did. - EW
