The Adair County Marching Band's drum line is not quite front but certainly center in this picture taken by Libby during this afternoon's BOA Regional at Austin Peay University in beautiful Clarksville TN. New guard dog protects Jr. Stotts: Lu

2015-09-19 - Greater Bliss, Adair County, KKY - Photo by Jr. Stotts. She's only about the size of a yippy lap dog now, but make no mistake about the young lady, she's a Queensland Heeler, and she's a working dog. She's got all the attributes Jr. Stotts could want in a dog. She's fiercely loyal, intelligent and highly trainable, and is still a great pet. Lu already has the pricked ears of the breed, but the Stumpy Tail didn't come naturally - it's only two days old at the this stage, following surgery on Thursday. LU is Stotts' sixth Queensland Healer. Her biggest problem in life now is joining the pack. Resident alpha Queensland Heeler, Lindsey, is very territorial and boots Lu out of the way anytime the pup is closer to the master than she is.

Light tan German Shepherd, found on Walker ST, Columbia, KY

2015-09-19 - Hudson Addition, Columbia, KY - Photo by Krisdi Ingermann. Lost Dog Found on Walker Street. Male not fixed. Tan with black collar and flea collar. His eye color matches his coat. He has a flea collar on and a leather collar but doesn't have any tags. I was going to take him to the vet to get scanned to see if he has a microchip but I couldn't get him in the car and I didn't want to lift him up because I didn't want him to bite me. He's not vicious or anything he's sweet and wags his tail, walks on the leash well. But wouldn't leave the yard on his own because I have a big dog in my fence and a rabbit. I took him door to door for 5 streets and no one has ever seen him. This guy on the street beside me said he would hold onto him since I didn't have room until we could find the owner. My name is Krisdi Ingermann, my cell is 270-634-1743
