He had 29 points including 9 made threes and 3 rebounds.

First responders lining up for the parade

A parade is a gigantic undertaking and everyone is proud to see first responders in support of the annual family event. They get our shout-out for their contribution, from law enforcement to the Fire Departments, Ambulance Service, and more. The lined up on the Veterans Memorial Bypass ready to merge in with parade entries coming out of the Industrial Park on the way to the Public Square.

Adair County FFA State President is Grand Marshall

The Grand Marshall of the 2024 Adair County Christmas in Columbia parade was Trenton Page, elected this year as the first Kentucky FFA President from Adair County High School. FFA members were riding with him on this and a second float.

LWC announces Joshua C. Phipps Memorial Scholarship
 2024-12-10 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Lindsey Wilson College. Beginning in fall 2025, Lindsey Wilson will award the Joshua C. Phipps Memorial Scholarship. The four-year, full-tuition scholarship will be awarded annually to a senior from Adair County High School or Russell County High School as "a tribute to Joshua's selfless sacrifice to our communities," said Lindsey Wilson President William T. Luckey.
Phipps, 38 and a former Lindsey Wilson student, died in September while helping Kentucky State Police and other agencies search on foot for a suspect. (Joshua C. Phipps, 38, Columbia, KY (1986-2024))
