A second look is often needed to realize the extraordinary detail and artistic skills in the Squarecrows which will be on display at least through Halloween and Treats on the Town, Saturday, October 31, 2015. It isn't totally evident on a quick pass, but Pam Spires Squarecrow includes a screen window frame and the art was painstakingly painted on that difficult "canvas." Lauren Williams portrayed the wife of Luther Baker Smith, in the 2013 Brookside Ghost Tour. The 2015 Ghost Tour, will feature students from Taylor and Campbellsville Middle school who will be portraying historical figures who are buried in Brookside Cemetery in the 200 block of W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. These figures date back to the 18th and 19th century. This event will be at the cemetery on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 1pm-2pmCT/2pm-3pmET. This year's event is called "Ghosts of Historic Brookside." Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. All proceeds go to the upkeep of Brookside Cemetery and the Hiestand House.
