This lesson is being led by their facilitator and Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Candice Flatt. The simulation evidence will later be used to identify and distinguish among a variety of other soil samples from different parts of the United States. The activity is a part of a month long project that uses math, science, and higher level questioning to solve a mystery.
