Music, the international language, was part of Campbellsville University's Day of Kingdom Advance church outreach Sunday, November 1 in Boyle County, KY. One member thanked CU Sound for bringing their music to First Baptist Church Danville and said with tears in his eyes, "my dad passed away in April but today your singing brought him back to me." Blake Whitlock, the 6-year veteran CU Sound bass singer from Hodgenville, Ky., made one of his last performances with the group. After performing while a student and after graduation in 2013, he is leaving CU Sound to join the Stamps Quartet which claims a 91-year history as the oldest male Southern Gospel quartet still singing in America today.
