Walk & Talk: 10,342 strides before 7:38amCT, mostly inside 2015-12-26 - CM International HQ - Photo - CM. So as not to offend and bragg, we won't tell you which one of our 175 year old editors accomplished this feat, no names will be used. Well before 7:38amCT when this photo was taken, the aged wonder had in 10,342 strides, with over 80% indoors the balance on walk around the Square. Even when the attempt to pass 10,000 strides and make it home was aborted because of 'funder and wightening' at Richard Lee Walker's office, the failsafe Walk-while-waiting was utilized' to get in the full 10,000 strides before an emergency ride came. For my arithmetic challenged friend Homer, here's the math, we think. With a 30" stride that works out to over 1.6 miles, with the only 'fuel' 1 can of gluecerna, two slices of Honeybaked ham, four glasses of water, and four cups of coffee, no gym fees, special clothing a pretty good pair of socks, and a not-so-good pair of shoes, and a cell phone, which is something of a necessity these days. It may be a tad late, but thought I would send a picture of some Holly off one of my Holly trees. I have several small trees and bushes, and admit to be pleasantly surprised to find a tree of about 20 ft tall in a cedar thicket, complete with Holly berries.
