Peter & Pauline are more than on their game right now. Some think Tray's Garden - a CM advertiser - is the best Chinese in South Central Kentucky. The plate above was the only one assembled by George Kolbenschlag, who felt no need to go back for seconds to get his money's worth. For those who haven't watched Michael Pollan on KET, Mr. Kolbenschlag is on trend: there is no virtue in cleaning your plate. For selfish health reasons, quite eating when you are full, or a little before. Of course there is more to the theory - for one thing, the Christian thing, one ought to take only what one can eat. That much is owed to the proprietors. Oh, another thing, someone, unbeknownst to us, paid for the meal. And that was appreciated and it was accepted on behalf of the restaurant and the wait staff, who were paid twice - still a good deal as far as we were concerned. - EW. CU Freshman sensation does it againHagen Tyler finished one point shy of his career-high and scored 33 points by knocking down 10 3-pointers in Campbellsville's 99-93 win over Life University. The victory came before a home crowd of 200 at Powell Athletic Center. Sekou Harris added 29. Life University had jumped out to its biggest lead, 30-17, but then it became the Hagen Tyler show. The freshman from Boyle County scored 20 points in the final 8:39 of the first half to bring the Tigers back within two, 49-47 at halftime, then turned in a solid 13-point performance in the second half.
