CHS to honor 1966 boys' basketball team

The 1966 CHS boys' basketball team will be honored on Friday, Feb. 5, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the team winning the fifth region basketball tournament. Team members were, from left, front, Ronnie Scott, Johnny Spaulding, Larry Wells, B.D. Thompson, Bill Meader and Larry "Corn" Benningfield. Back, Mike Underwood, Ken Shively, Guy Colson, Tommy Barnes, Bobby Benningfield and John Dunlap.
