Epicurean Kentuckian: Moonstruck Egg

KET's featured movie last night was "Moonstruck." We watched it all the way through for just the 310th time, and were so inspired by Olympia Dukakis' breakfast eggs, we paid homage to the show with these wannabe Moonstruck eggs. Noticed other recipes for Moonstruck Eggs call for roasted red pepper, so hope we got this right. The great thing about the dish is simplicity. Takes less than 10 minutes start to finish. - EW

Fire completely engulfs residence on Powell Creek Road

This residence owned by William & Ruth Bryant was completely engulfed in fire when firefighters from the Adair County Fire Department responded this morning, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 7:59amCT. The structure was a total loss. No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is undisclosed at this time. Donald Hare
