It's still in the family, this beautiful home on West Frazier Avenue in Columbia, KY. This morning, Wednesday, February 24, 2016, it was the site of the first fully bloomed daffodils, which drew memories of the late Oreta Morris, for decades a symbol of Walking Columbia. And the flag evokes the memory her husband, the late W.J. "Billy Joe" Morris, who was as passionately patriotic as any Adair County soldier of the 20th Century. She died in 2011, he in 1990.
