The Cumberland River was at a high stage on Saturday, February 27, 2016, as seen from the Roadside Marker commemorating the Burkesville Ferry and the unwelcome social call by a rascal from Trousdale County, TN, CSA General John Hunt Morgan, before be paid further unwelcome calls north into Adair and Taylor Counties. The lowest roadway into the river was underwater, and the Cumberland had swelled beyond the tree lines. The Adair Family Values 'Prayer on the Square' group had not reached it's largest number when the photo was taken shortly after noon, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at just after the announced start if the meeting, which was originally announced to be held across the Square in front of the Adair Annex.
