As the internet matured into a robust platform for shopping and arguing, we posted the "Hour of the Cats" "photo" to columbiamagazine.com, where it's been available for more than a decade, subtly informing visitors and art critics of the unique worldview of digital Columbians, and of the importance of Wankel-powered cars in the event that the Zombie Apocalypse turns out to be a Zombie Cat Apocalypse. Thanks to a tip from Doyle Lloyd, it has come to our attention that the Artifical Intelligence that picks images for Google's search results has been featuring our Hour of the Cats photo as the definitive image to show people who search for "Columbia, KY".
