Sycamore Springs: Spring is bursting out all over 2016-04-04 - Sycamore Springs, Adair County, KY - Photo by Cynthia A. Meyer. Spring is here, and busting all everywhere especially the insects! Today I picked what I thought was a dead (left panel) Swallowtail Butterfly off the porch. To my horror - when I looked down I realized it was not dead, but instead was just beginning its life as a butterfly. Its wings were still soft and flexible in the process of drying! I set it on a tree (right panel) to finish drying. Snapped a few pictures of the now irritated insect as it was a bit camera shy, and climbed higher out the lens of my camera. Sadie is missing from Tom Lewis Road, Keltner Road area 2016-04-03 - Columbia, KY - Photo Connie Young. My dog has been missing since March 24, 2016. We live in the area of Tom Lewis Rd and Keltner Rd. She is almost full grown, terrier/yelow lab mix. Her ears stand up, she is the color of a yellow lab, has white on her chest and little bit on her feet. She has a pink nose. She may be travelling in the company of my sister's dog. Sadie is very friendly and loves everybody. She is wearing a flea color and a pink collar with little white paw prints. I am enclosing 2 puppy pictures but she is bigger now as these were taken about 6 months ago. If anyone has seen her, please call me (Connie Youngs) at 270-378-5467 or 270-250-9248.
