A portrait of Layla: Inner greatness recognized

It was a rare, quiet moment for Layla, the official mascot of Green River Animal Shelter during a rare lull in visitation at the shelter. Moments later, she greet us. Moments later, when the door was open, she went outside to show us how much she enjoys the wonderful lawn at the shelter's campus. And moments after this photo was taken she showing her maternal - maybe auntly - instincts as she played with two total adorable puppies and one lost Labtriever who was picked up in the Flatwoods area. Plant is a mystery to us? Do you know what's about to happen?

Every inch of landscape becomes precious close up - And most new discoveries about the land are only possible up close and personal. This plant was found in a 25 minute walk in a beautiful little valley. It's doesn't particularly stand out at this stage, though it is regal and understated in all green. We'd like to know what to expect in the next hours or days. We'd take a quick answer from an expert, even advice on how this plant should be Googled. We aim to go back. But would really appreciate help. Initially, the stop was to see if we could find an elusive May Apple flower. Didn't, but the sight of them elicited a childhood memory: Linda remembered their real purpose: They make excellent doll umbrellas.
