Lost dog found near United Citizens Bank main branch, at 700 Jamestown Street, Columbia, . Has a pink collar and leash. Seems to be someone's pet and is scared from the storms. Call 270-384-2265.

Reptiles of Kentucky: How to not be seen on Snake Creek Road

It was hidden, but didn't poke this box turtle to get it to move. Probably, if engaged in a conversation, would have found it was headed Tennessee, where it would enjoyed the vaunted status of being the State Reptile. Sad to say, there is no State Reptile in Kentucky. Funny to say, we always went to great lengths to call box turtles "terrapins" and detail the differences in this reptiles and snapping turtles. And it wasn't that way at all. - CM
