Campbellsville Elementary School second-grade students visited Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery in Jamestown recently. The hatchery is administered by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and is supported by federal tax dollars. Fish raised at the hatchery are stocked in public waters. Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery produces about 1 million rainbow, brown, and brook trout weighing 275,000 pounds each year. Moving Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is now in place at Bowling Park, 1608 W Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY. The Wall is 252 feet long, half the size of the original in Washington DC, with all 58,292 names on it for people to read and touch. The Wall was lighted at that opening ceremony last night, Thursday, May 12, 2016, and it will remain open, free to all 24/7 through March 16 except for Sunday afternoon which is a protected time just for Veterans and their families.
