Harry & Delores Mack have had this attention getting ride, a Polaris Slingshot SL, for about a year now. As a matter of fact, the vehicle gets almost more attention than he is comfortable with sometimes. The photo at left is of owner Harry Mack. The one on the right, is a rear shot, is a rear shot to show its motorcycle heritage. It's almost a car, in Kentucky and some other states, it's licensed as a motorcycle, but some state DMVs require auto registration. It's powered by a GM Eco-Tec engine. Gas Mileage is 28 MPG. There are aftermarket tops for the Slingshot; none are available from Polaris. Does it turn heads? You bet, Harry has had people hang out of moving car windows to get a better photo of his Slingshot. CIS Teacher Kevin Rafferty gave blood at the recent Kentucky Blood Center blood drive at Campbellsville High School. The drive was hosted by the CHS National Beta Society. The goal for the drive was to collect 30 pints of blood, and CHS students and faculty members met that goal.
